Soheil Ebadat is the Founding Partner of Ebadat. He represents private companies, funds, boards of directors, independent sponsors, founders, investors, and senior executives in high-stakes corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and growth equity financings, fund formation, and strategic commercial contracting.
Soheil has advised on transactions representing billions of dollars in aggregate deal value across sports, consumer products, energy, technology, aerospace, healthcare, and financial services. His sports practice is among the most active in the United States, with closed transactions across four of Europe's five major leagues. He regularly counsels clients on the full lifecycle of a business, from formation and early-stage financing through acquisitions and exits.
Before founding Ebadat, Soheil served as General Counsel of Redbud Brands, an investment fund and studio focused on scaling consumer brands. Earlier in his career, he practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP, and held roles at Pritzker Private Capital and Accenture.
Soheil serves as a board member of Club Deportivo Leganes and the Texas A&M University Economics Department. He is recognized by The Legal 500 as a Tier 1 practitioner in Corporate and M&A and by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star.
Soheil holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a Doctoroff Fellow at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Soheil graduated Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics.
