After graduating from Baylor University, she attended South Texas College of Law Houston for law school and was licensed in 2006. Ms. Oehl joined Jenkins Kamin LLP in September 2008 after being associated with two other family law firms. She has delivered presentations on child custody and other topics related to her practice area to groups of fellow attorneys. In addition to being recognized by Super Lawyers for many years, she has been named to Houstonia magazine's annual list of Top Lawyers.
