Attorney Susan Myres of Myres & Associates in Houston, Texas, focuses her practice on all aspects of family law. Ms. Myres represents clients throughout the Houston metropolitan region in matters involving divorce, child support, custody, paternity, property division and other family law related legal issues.
A highly respected attorney with several decades of experience, Ms. Myres regularly lectures to groups on various family law topics. She holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Kansas, earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and has been admitted to practice law in the state of Texas since 1982.
Along with being licensed to appear before all Texas state courts, Ms. Myres also has federal court experience. She is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
Ms. Myres has worked on a diverse variety of family law cases over the course of her legal career. Using a team based approach, she has collaborated with experts in fields, including the financial and mental health fields to provide assistance for her clients.
In addition to running her law practice, Ms. Myres is actively engaged in a variety of professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas and Texas Women Lawyers. She is also a member of national organizations, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
