Taylor L. Freeman

Taylor Freeman is a trial lawyer with over a decade of experience in courtrooms across Texas.  His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with clients in virtually every business sector.  Taylor has tried cases involving a wide range of business disputes including trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, oil and gas, negligence, fraud, and fiduciary duty.

Mr. Freeman has been named to the list of “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” for commercial litigation in 2022. This is a national peer review award developed by Best Lawyers in America to target attorneys for outstanding professional excellence early in their careers. He was also named as a Texas Rising Star for excellence in business litigation in 2018-2022. Rising Stars, which is compiled by Thomson Reuters’ Texas Super Lawyers, honors leading attorneys age 40 and younger and those who have been in practice no more than 10 years.

He received his J.D. from New York University and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University.  Prior to joining AZA, Taylor served as a volunteer prosecutor for the City of Houston, where he managed criminal dockets and prosecuted misdemeanor jury trial cases for Houston Municipal Court.
