Tej Paranjpe

With over 15 years of experience in the legal field, Tej Paranjpe currently serves as a managing partner at PMR Law in Houston, Texas. He serves clients in the Houston metropolitan area and around Texas in personal injury matters involving truck accidents, wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. He additionally represents plaintiffs in complex civil/commercial litigation and class actions.

After graduating from the University of Sussex with a bachelor’s degree in film studies, Mr. Paranjpe enrolled at Widener University Delaware Law School in 2006. He earned his J.D. in 2009 and gained his license to practice law in Texas in 2010. He is further admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Texas. Before shifting his focus to personal injury law, he gained experience in trials and negotiation as a criminal defense attorney at a local law firm. 

Mr. Paranjpe served as primary counsel for numerous clients following a nuclear radiation exposure incident in 2015. This served as a stepping stone to the vision of PMR Law. Currently, he represents several residential clients against multibillion-dollar oil and gas companies and insurance carriers and plaintiffs in class action lawsuits against large businesses. 

As an active member of the South Asian Bar Association in Houston, Mr. Paranjpe previously served as the president and then the treasurer. He is also a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association. Among the various awards and accolades he has received, most notably, he was listed in The Best Lawyers in America list and the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list for two consecutive years. He was also mentioned in the National Law Journal as Plaintiff’s Lawyer Trailblazers, the LawDragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers in America and received the Texas Lawyer “On The Rise” award in 2020.
