    A published author, Ms. Wanat was the co-writer of an article on judgment appeal strategy for The Houston Lawyer, the bi-monthly publication of the Houston Bar Association. While in law school, she also served as an editor and researcher of Capital Cases Bench Book, a resource designed to assist capital murder case trial court judges.
