Details
Within a relatively short time practicing law, Trevor Courtney has made considerable inroads in his legal community, cementing a reputation that represents unwavering dedication to his clients, compassion and support through every legal challenge they face, and a work ethic that never folds under pressure. At Arnold & Itkin LLP in Houston, Texas, he handles serious personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries, maritime injuries, premises liability, offshore accidents and wrongful death, among many others.
Mr. Courtney completed his undergraduate studies in 2018, graduating magna cum laude with his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Drury University. He went on to attend the South Texas College of Law – Houston, and during his time there, he was a member of the Oil and Gas Law Society and the Veterans Clinic. He received his Juris Doctor in 2021 and, in the same year, obtained his license to practice law in Texas. He later gained admission to practice law in Louisiana and before all the federal district courts in Texas and the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana.
With one eye on the welfare of his client and another on every detail of their cases, Mr. Courtney covers every base, leaving no stone unturned in his pursuit of their goals. He has recovered sizeable compensation for his clients, including being part of a Texas plant explosion case that resulted in $154 million in settlements, and $32 million related to a crane collapse on a Texas interstate. For his many contributions, he has been included in the Top 40 Under 40 list by the National Trial Lawyers.
