As managing partner at Wilson Wehmeyer, PLLC, William C. Wilson represents clients in Houston, Texas, in matters of estate and probate law and employment and labor law. This includes estate planning, trust creation, muniment of title, will contests probate litigation, declaration of heirships, and probate administration and application. After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music, Mr. Wilson worked in music production and arts administration. He produced and managed more than 300 tours, concerts, the Houston Grand Opera and other musical festivals and performances.
Mr. Wilson then attended South Texas College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 2013 and was the South Texas Law Review’s assistant editor. In federal income taxation, trusts and wills law in Texas, agency and partnership and copyright law, he earned a CALI Award for Excellence while in law school.
Admitted to practice in the state of Texas, Mr. Wilson is also admitted to practice in several federal courts. These include the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit. During his career, he has worked with both Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies in matters of noncompete, retaliation, discrimination and overtime pay.
