Perry focuses his practice on a broad range of personal injury matters, but he also has a lengthy record of success in criminal law and general litigation. For more than 30 years, Mr. Perry has successfully tried a diverse range of cases before federal and state courts. His extensive experience on both sides of the docket has garnered him numerous honors. Since 1996, he has been listed in "Best Lawyers of America,"* and he was selected as a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a prestigious organization that offers membership to less than 1 percent of trial lawyers in North America. Mr. Perry is board certified by the State Bar of Texas in personal injury law and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a civil trial advocate.
In 1972, Mr. Perry earned his undergraduate degree from Southern State College in Magnolia, Arkansas, with highest honors. He then went on to receive his law degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1975. Since then, Mr. Perry has published many legal articles in several legal publications. He is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and a member of many local bar associations and legal organizations, including the distinguished Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
