She pursued her interest in law at Texas A&M University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor degree in 1998. Following her legal studies, she earned a Texas Litigation Certification from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 1989 and spent the next six years as an assistant district attorney for the Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Lubbock County, Texas. This role enabled her to acquire diverse experience and valuable knowledge that shaped the bedrock of her legal practice today.

  • I have participated in primarily jury trials for six years as an Assistant District Attorney resulting in approximately 60-80 jury trials, and 25 years of bench trials as a trial litigator, resulting in hundreds of bench trials, court hearings, mediations and settlement agreements reached.  One of my appeals was published, resulting from a decision by the 11th court of appeals to reverse and render in favor of my client.

  • I represented Elizabeth Weston during her divorce from Graham Weston filed in Comal County, Texas, with an estimated estate worth 3.2 billion dollars. I represented Peter Bowles in his divorce from Catherine Whittenburg, involving an estate worth an estimated 50 million dollars around 2010. I represented David Postar in his divorce this year, worth an estimated 30 million dollar estate. I have represented many of the doctors and high-end clientele in the Lubbock area and surrounding areas during my entire divorce practice beginning in 2003.
