Attorney Stephen L. Hamilton is a partner at the Texas Criminal Defense Group. Mr. Hamilton focuses his practice on criminal defense law, representing people who have been accused of crimes, defending their rights and helping them to protect their futures. He represents clients in Lubbock, as well as Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso and throughout the state of Texas. 

Mr. Hamilton has over 20 years of experience and has helped clients through hundreds of jury trials. He handles all types of criminal defense matters including those involving domestic violence, drug charges, DUI/DWI, expunction, gun charges, sex crimes and theft. He represents clients from all walks of life, including college students who have been accused of crimes.

He is board certified in criminal law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and trained in field sobriety testing from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Mr. Hamilton earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. He holds a license to practice law before all Texas state courts. He is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
