- Auto Wreck where Defendant admitted negligence settled while the jury was deliberating for $7500.00, Plaintiff demanded policy limits before trial (Angelina County), 2010
- Tractor Trailer driver who was accused of turning left in front of African American female in Butler County Alabama. Driver was not served and did not testify in deposition or trial. Plaintiff claimed to have sustained an injury to her lower back which caused radiating pain into her right leg and hip. Plaintiff's asked for $500,000.00. A jury of six men and women awarded $50,000.00, $20,000.00 less than the Defendant's March 2015 offer of judgment, September 2016 (Butler County Alabama)
- In February 2018 tried 18 Wheeler accident case to Angelina County Jury representing the trucking company. Plaintiff had $180k in medical expenses. Liability was admitted. Jury awarded only $23k. Jury did not believe the shoulder surgery was related to the accident given evidence of prior problems with the shoulder. , 2018
- Defended Tractor Trailer Company and held judgment to $20,000.00 when Defendant driver admitted negligence and Plaintiff had operated knee (Montgomery County), 2010
- Defendant Tractor Trailer Company admitted negligence of driver. Plaintiff, also tractor trailer driver, had micro disectomy at L5/S1. Plaintiff presented $113,000 in medical expenses, asked for $400,000.00 in loss of earning capacity and with non-economic damages sought $1.2 million in closing. Held the jury verdict to $158,000.00 (Angelina County), August 2016
- Tried accident between two tractor trailers to verdict in USDC for Eastern District of Texas Tyler Division and obtained judgment against out of state tractor trailer company for a portion of the damages , 2016
- $245,000.00 verdict obtained in a commerical case for Florida Company (Angelina County), 2011
- Employee sued non-subscribing employer after finger was infected. Jury found no neligence and judgment was entered in favor of the defense (Jasper County), 2008
- Employee Plaintiff was told that she was laid off because she refused to continue sleeping with her supervisor. Employer recieves preservation letter and supervisor shows up at Employee Plaintiff's home drunk and yelling. The Police are called and the supervisor leaves. Plaintiff sues for quid pro quo sexual harassment, sexual harrassment and retaliation. Plaintiff employee did not have good proof of damages as the lay off appeared to be legitmate. Jury found sexual harassment, quid pro quo sexual harassment and retaliation but only awarded the Plaintiff $3,000.00 in damages due to lack of proof of damages. Cout awarded $33,000.00 in attorney's fees which Defendant appealed to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. The 5th Circuit upheld the award of attorney's fees.
