William R. Garza

William R. Garza is a board certified personal injury attorney in McAllen, Texas. The Founder of the William Garza Law Firm,  Mr. Garza defends personal injury actions involving catastrophic injury, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, product liability, trucking accidents and other issues. He serves clients in Edinburg and the surrounding area. He is board-certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Earlier in his legal career, Mr. Garza practiced at another private Texas firm, focusing on insurance and medical malpractice defense. He developed his knowledge and experience in these areas of law over the years, co-founding his current firm in 2014. Over the course of his time in practice, he has defended cases involving complex legal issues on behalf of doctors, nurses, hospitals and insurance companies. 

Respected among his colleagues and recognized for his accomplishments, Mr. Garza speaks at conferences and seminars for hospitals throughout South Texas.  He is also an active member in the invitation only organization, American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Involved in his legal community, Mr. Garza belongs to several professional organizations. He is a member of the Hidalgo County Bar Association, the Cameron County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Bar College.

Mr. Garza graduated from Austin College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology. He went on to graduate from South Texas College of Law Houston in 1999. He is qualified to practice law before the state courts of Texas and Oklahoma and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
