He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2013 and was later permitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Evans held the positions of class president and president/co-chairman of the Harvey M. Richey Moot Court Society while he was at Baylor Law School. In recognition of his outstanding advocacy work, he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. He also held the position of articles editor on Baylor Law Review and was elected to the Student Bar Association. In the first year of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's Civics project in Waco, Texas, he was also chosen to be a student mentor.
Mr. Evans worked for a big Texas company after finishing law school, where he learned the ins and outs of commercial disputes, real estate transactions and complicated issues involving corporate negligence and breach of fiduciary duty. Within the Probate Litigation Department, he oversaw the creditor's claims division. Because of his experience in both the legal system and business, he is able to guide negotiations and explain intricate legal arguments clearly, whether they are in the context of a trial or a business transaction.
