In 1982 Ms. Woods graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She then attended Texas Tech University School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 1986. While at law school, Ms. Woods was a member of Phi Delta Phi and served as an editor on her school's law review.
For over 25 years, Ms. Woods has dedicated herself to finding the best solution possible for her clients and their unique situations. She has been certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Collin County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Woods is also admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas, the Texas Courts of Appeals and all trial courts located in Texas. A former adjunct professor for SMU Dedman School of Law, Ms. Woods believes strongly in education. She has worked for the benefit of young students through Mohawk Elementary School, the PTA board and with art and education programs.
