Details
Representing those charged with a criminal offense, Kyle Therrian is a partner at Rosenthal, Kalabus & Therrian who handles cases for clients throughout the State of Texas. He combines the experience and aggressiveness he earned as a trial attorney with the savvy and finesse of a client advocate to determine the best solution for each individual situation.
A leader in the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), Mr Therrian also serves as editor of TCDLA's "Significant Decisions Report." His published legal summaries are distributed monthly to thousands of practitioners and judges. He is known throughout the profession as someone who knows the law, stays several steps ahead, and is not afraid to go the distance if the case requires it.
Along with defending clients on their initial charges, Mr. Therrian also handles criminal appeals for those who need their case taken to the next level. With his appellate experience, he is uniquely prepared to handle cases wherein a judge must be convinced that the client’s rights were violated, or a client hopes for a favorable outcome with a prosecutor.
At The University of Oklahoma College of Law, Mr. Therrian obtained a Juris Doctor and was inducted into the Order of Solicitors. He has an Avvo “Superb” rating and was chosen by the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association as a statewide lecturer. With the same organization, he serves as vice chair of the COVID-19 taskforce and as vice chair of the sister organization Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Education Institute. Mr. Therrian has been listed for multiple years in The National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 40 Under 40, he was named as one of the Best Lawyers Under 40 by D Magazine, and is a member of the State Bar College.
