Attorney Mark A. Walsh is a founding partner of Saunders, Walsh & Beard in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Walsh practices in the areas of construction law, business litigation, municipal law, and property tax. While his home is Collin County, he frequently represents clients throughout the State of Texas and across the United States.
After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in business administration, Mr. Walsh earned his law degree from Baylor Law School. He has been licensed to practice law in the state of Texas since 1997 and is admitted to appear before all Texas state and federal courts.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Walsh has served as lead counsel in a variety of significant cases that have resulted in multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements. His work on behalf of clients has earned him the rating* of AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating, by the attorney peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Walsh has worked in all areas of civil litigation. In the construction law realm, he has extensive experience in contract drafting and negotiation, construction defect litigation, design disputes, lien and bond claims, change order disputes, bidding disputes, and assists clients with the administration of their construction contracts. In the area of business law, he has counseled clients in business organization formation, contract drafting, shareholder/partnership litigation, and real estate disputes. He also serves as outside general counsel for many businesses and governmental units.
