His passion for law then guided him to Texas Tech University School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. in 2018. That same year, he was licensed in Texas and began his legal career with a Fort Worth law firm before establishing his own practice.

Today, Mr. Smith is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
