Richard A. Mann

Richard A. Mann is an attorney at Ted B. Lyon & Associates, located in Mesquite, Texas who provides skilled and compassionate representation to clients throughout the state. He focuses his practice primarily on catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, fraud, and deceptive trade practices litigation. The types of cases that Mr. Mann has been involved in that have resulted in significant recoveries have arisen out of commercial vehicle incidents (semi-truck and mobile crane collisions), ATV incidents, premises liability incidents, consumer fraud and DTPA claims, and job site incidents involving third parties or non-subscribers to the workers compensation system. Mr. Mann as handled many cases where victims sustained traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or severe burn injuries. He has been able to obtain numerous high value settlements and jury awards on behalf of his plaintiff clients.

Mr. Mann also has significant experience in complex qui tam litigation arising under the federal False Claims Act, resulting in significant results for his whistleblower clients.

Mr. Mann pursued his legal studies at The University of Texas at Austin School of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2011. While in law school Richard was a leader of the Christian Legal Society and a member of the UT Law Board of Advocates. Mr. Mann has been with Ted B. Lyon & Associates for his entire career.
