Taylor Mauro

Currently serving as a partner at Mauro & Mauro Attorneys at Law in Mesquite, Texas, Taylor Mauro is a passionate attorney. Focusing her practice on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and business planning, she serves clients in Mesquite, Dallas, Fort Worth and other parts of Texas.

Ms. Mauro completed her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Texas before joining Baylor Law School. While in law school, she was part of Baylor Law Trial Clinic, Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas and various other volunteer services. Her extensive engagement in voluntary work gained her recognition as a public interest fellow. She also received the BARBRI Public Servant Award in 2019 and the Bill Kimble Service Award in 2020. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2021. 

Licensed to practice in Texas since 2021, Ms. Mauro started her career as an assistant district attorney in Dallas and Tarrant counties. Spending four years as a district attorney, she prosecuted cases at all levels. This experience provided her with insight into managing pressure, preparing thoroughly and making compelling arguments. She utilizes that same insight today to fight for her clients. 

Her deep interest and personal calling to help people are what inspired Ms. Mauro to become a lawyer. Her practice today is also built on the same purpose of helping people and families navigate the legal system by providing them with the clarity, confidence and compassion they need. Her approach to advocating for clients or litigating a complex matter is always a well-blended combination of her legal skills and willingness to listen.
