Her leadership roles have included serving as president of the Midland County Young Lawyers Association and being an active member of the Midland County Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. She has also held positions as vice president and president of the Permian Basin Trial Lawyers Association. Additionally, she is involved with the American Association for Justice and the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association.

Ms. Phiffer has also served as the chair of the Texas Grievance Committee for District 16, where she investigated attorney misconduct claims and promoted diversity as a sustaining member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association Advocates’ Diversity Committee.
