Rick A. Navarrete

Throughout almost every corner of Texas, Rick A. Navarrete has represented clients in matters of family law and criminal defense. With experience trying hundreds of cases before both judges and juries, he is fluent in both English and Spanish and a valued partner at Navarrete & Schwartz, P.C.

In his criminal law practice, Mr. Navarrete handles matters of assault and battery, criminal fraud, expungement, drug and alcohol violations, failure to pay child support, felonies, misdemeanors, false accusations, sex offenses, tax evasion, theft, probation, murder and motor vehicle offenses. His family law practice includes matters of adoption, spousal support and alimony, child support, visitation, custody, divorce, domestic violence, juvenile law, same-sex family law, fathers rights, prenuptial agreements, and marital property mediation and collaborative law.

Admitted to practice in the state of Texas, Mr. Navarrete is a member of the Administration of Rules of Evidence Committee, the Bar Leadership Committee and the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He is also a member of the Midland County Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

A graduate of Angelo State University, Mr. Navarrete obtained his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. Since 2000, he has been protecting the rights of Texans charged with a crime or dealing with sensitive family law issues.
