Christine G. Albano is the owner and founder of Albano Law, PLLC, in Plano, Texas. A well-known and respected family law attorney, Ms. Albano works with cases involving divorce, property division, child custody, modifications, paternity, child support. premarital agreements and other family law issues. She represents clients from Plano, Frisco, McKinney, and all of Collin County. She is settlement motivated, ready to litigate when necessary, but also supportive of the collaborative divorce process for the successful transition from marriage to post divorce co-parenting and/or business partnership.

After graduating from Southern Methodist University, Ms. Albano obtained her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States, and is Board-Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists.

Before founding her firm in 2003, Ms. Albano gained legal experience practicing family law at a Dallas law firm. She also served as a staff attorney at Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, where she represented victims of domestic violence in cases involving protective orders, divorce, child custody and other issues. In 2006 she received the organization's Atticus Finch award.

Additional awards and recognition Ms. Albano has received include the prestigious Judge Sam Williams Award from the State Bar of Texas, Builders of Justice Award, Outstanding Young Lawyer award from the Collin County Young Lawyers Association, Outstanding Director of the Year award from the Texas Young Lawyers Association, and Founders Award from the Collin County Women Lawyer's Association.
