Mr. Lewis graduated with honors from Texas Tech University in 2004 with his bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising and applied communication. He then attended the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2007. He obtained his license to practice in Texas the same year he graduated law school.
With a deep understanding of the emotions his clients go through when faced with egregious allegations and charges, Mr. Lewis finds that comforting his clients and giving them confidence that their matter will be handled diligently puts them at ease and relatively eases tension in their day-to-day lives. - Representing a woman charged with Murder for defending herself from an abusive husband. The case was taken to trial once already, with a hung jury. The case will be tried again in 2022., 2022

Pro bono / Community Service
- I am on the Collin County Indigent Defense list to represent Collin County citizens accused of crimes who cannot afford to hire an attorney. I have been on the appointment list since 2015 and annually represent hundreds of clients charged with both misdemeanor and felony offenses. I am compensated by the County for the work, but at a drastically reduced rate compared to retained clients for the same level of offense and the same representation provided., 2022
