With almost a decade of experience in the field of legal practice, Peter James Ganyard serves at The Shapiro Law Firm, located in Plano, Texas. Focusing primarily on the areas of criminal and family law, he has earned a spot for himself in the legal community of Texas.
Joining the Collin County District Attorney’s Office as a misdemeanor prosecutor, Mr. Ganyard went on to work as a misdemeanor chief, felony prosecutor and felony chief. Following that, he worked with the Domestic Violence Unit, the Crimes Against Children Unit and the Felony Trial team, and subsequently led the 416th District Court. Securing a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Clemson University, Mr. Ganyard went on to graduate with his law degree from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2014.
