Rachel Li

Rachel Li is a senior partner at OWLawyers Trial Law in Frisco, Texas, and holds board certification in family law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. For more than 17 years, she has provided unwavering advocacy and adept guidance to individuals across Texas who are facing divorce, custody disputes and other complex domestic matters.

Ms. Li advises mothers, fathers and spouses in both uncontested and contested divorces, child‐custody proceedings and sophisticated asset divisions, with special fluency in cases involving international holdings and private enterprises. She earned her B.A. from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2004 and her J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law in 2008. That same year, she was licensed in Texas. Also, she is fluent in Chinese-Mandarin, English and Spanish. 

In addition to her courtroom work, Ms. Li serves as a certified guardian ad litem, attorney ad litem and amicus attorney, championing minors’ best interests in high-conflict family disputes. As a trained mediator, she facilitates settlements that align with her clients’ objectives while reducing stress, time and expenses. Drawing on her own experience with divorce, she provides compassionate, tailored support throughout the entire process.

An engaged leader in the bar community, Ms. Li is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Association of Family Law Specialists and various local affiliates. She co-founded and formerly presided over the Collin County Women Lawyers Association, chaired the North Dallas chapter of Altrusa International and remains active in the Curt B. Henderson American Inn of Court and The Podium, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and mentorship.
