Basing her practice in San Antonio, Texas, attorney Amanda Inez Hernandez established Amanda Hernandez Law, PLLC to provide credible legal guidance and representation to people who are accused of criminal offenses. With nearly a decade of experience in criminal defense, she has jury trial experience in federal, felony, and misdemeanor cases. She is currently Vice President of the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (SACDLA), Vice President of the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (TCADP), and serves on the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Project Committee (CDLP). She was awarded SACDLA's 2019 Young Lawyer of the Year award and was recognized as a Super Lawyers 2024 Texas Rising Star in Criminal Defense. She also serves as Of Counsel for the Flanary Law Firm, PLLC.

Earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in international relations from The University of Texas at San Antonio, Ms. Hernandez obtained her law degree from the St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, she was a recipient of the Stars Scholarship, the Judge Lee H. Lytton Jr. Scholarship, and the St. Mary’s Dean’s Law General Scholarship. Soon after graduation, Ms. Hernandez was promoted from being a long-time law clerk to the position of an associate at the Flanary Law Firm, PLLC, where she remained for eight years before starting her practice. 

Amanda Inez Hernandez has been recognized as a zealous advocate who is ferocious in her litigation and she takes on a variety of criminal cases including serious federal and felony crimes, sexual offenses, child sex offenses, drug crimes, white collar crimes, and smaller misdemeanor cases.
