Carlos G. Quintana is a partner at Peña & Quintana, PLLC. After teaching English in Madrid, Mr. Quintana returned to the United States and eventually enrolled at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, which is part of Yeshiva University in New York City. While he was there, he was involved in various public service programs and served several internships, including one with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and another with a New York City family court judge, before obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2013. Admitted to practice in Texas, New York and New Jersey, Mr. Quintana is also admitted to practice before several federal trial and appellate courts, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 3rd and 5th circuits.
Mr. Quintana’s immigration law practice covers several areas. His experience has included deportation and removal, asylum matters, family immigration visas, U visas, adjustment of status, naturalization, green card eligibility and cases involving Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. Mr. Quintana has also provided defense representation for immigrants who have been accused by the state or federal government of having committed misdemeanor or felony offenses, and he has worked on family law matters that affect his client base. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and several other professional organizations.
