George Salinas is the founding personal injury attorney at George Salinas Injury Lawyers in San Antonio, Texas, where he represents clients in car, truck and motorcycle collisions, slip-and-fall matters and wrongful death claims. A graduate of St. Mary’s University who received the presidential award for scholarship and service, Mr. Salinas went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. During law school, he completed internships with Judge Fred Biery of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and with Chief Justice Alma Lopez at the U.S Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, undertook two private firm clerkships and served a clerkship at the Texas Attorney General’s Office before working as a policy analyst in the Texas Senate.
Early in his career, Mr. Salinas defended corporations and insurers in automobile cases across Texas, which provided him with an insider’s view of claims handling and litigation strategy. He later transitioned to plaintiff representation, joining a prominent San Antonio personal injury firm where he tried cases and handled hundreds of matters on behalf of injured people and grieving families, refining his trial approach while managing complex discovery and expert coordination.
Firm leadership and professional peers have recognized Mr. Salinas’ trial work and commitment to the profession: he was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2021, has been regularly listed among Scene in SA Monthly Magazine and San Antonio Magazine Top Lawyers, and served as president of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association.
