Heather Clement Tessmer

Heather Clement Tessmer is a San Antonio, Texas-based solo practitioner. Ms. Tessmer has over 20 years of experience and handles cases involving business litigation, child custody, high-asset divorce and military divorce, serving clients throughout San Antonio. She has a wide range of experience with business and family law-related matters. 

As a certified family law attorney through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Ms. Tessmer has successfully resolved and litigated many complex family law cases over the course of her career. Recognizing her accomplishments, Scene in S.A. has included her on their “Best Lawyers” list, and she has received awards from the San Antonio Business Journal and the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Active in several professional organizations, Ms. Tessmer belongs to the Kendall County Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Foundation and the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association, as well as many sections of the State Bar of Texas. She is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and chairperson of the District 15C Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.

Outside of her law practice, Ms. Tessmer engages in various community service activities. She is involved with several local organizations, including the Boerne Public Library Foundation, the Boerne Education Foundation, the Community Justice Program, Hill Country Cares, the Kendall County Women’s Shelter and the Rainbow Senior Center.

Ms. Tessmer earned a bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University and received her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law. She holds a license to practice law before all Texas state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
