Laura Pazin Porter

As a partner at Cowen | Rodriguez | Peacock, located in San Antonio, Texas, Laura Pazin Porter provides legal support to individuals and families hurt by someone else's negligence. With more than two decades of experience, Ms. Porter handles select commercial litigation matters, advocating for clients in disputes that require careful preparation and skilled presentation in court. Ms. Porter earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (formerly known as the University of Texas Pan American) in 1998. She received her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001. She is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. District Court for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas.

An active leader in the legal community, Ms. Porter is a past president of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the Federal Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association & Foundation, the San Antonio Bar Association, the Bexar County Women’s Bar Association and the Texas Bar Foundation.
