Philip C. Snyder

Attorney Philip C. Snyder is a Managing Partner at the law firm of Royston Rayzor in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Snyder has nearly two decades of legal experience and concentrates his practice on business litigation, commercial litigation, construction litigation, insurance litigation and counseling. He also works in personal injury defense in the areas of insurance defense, product liability and general liability. He represents businesses and other clients throughout the San Antonio area as well as throughout the State of Texas.

Mr. Snyder has represented many major companies as clients, and he has been involved in several newsworthy cases. He has helped clients with commercial litigation, insurance disputes, construction defect litigation, personal injury defense, oilfield-related litigation and many other types of cases. San Antonio Scene magazine included him on its “Best San Antonio lawyers” list in multiple years.

Active in the Texas legal community, Mr. Snyder was appointed by U.S. District Judge Fred Biery to serve as a member of the Admissions Committee for the United States District Court of the Western District of Texas San Antonio Division.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.  Also active in his community, he served on the Board of Directors and as the President for the San Antonio Founders Lion's Club, where he is still an active member.

Mr. Snyder graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in government. He received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law at Austin. He holds licenses to practice law before all Texas state courts, the U.S. district courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
