Tapas Agarwal

Tapas Agarwal is the owner of the Agarwal Law Firm in San Antonio, Texas. His expertise is plaintiff's medical malpractice actions. He is a seasoned trial litigator who has taken several cases to trial, obtaining favorable jury verdicts and results for his clients across Texas. 

Prior to doing plaintiff's work, Tapas defended providers in front of the Texas Medical Board, Texas Nursing Board, and New Mexico Review Commission. This experience greatly informs Tapas's current practice. Furthermore, by reviewing each case in-house with a Texas-licensed physician, Tapas is able to more successfully evaluate and litigate medical malpractice claims compared to his peers.   

Mr. Agarwal earned his legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 2015. He was among the top 8% in his class and was inducted into the prestigious John M. Harlan Society of St. Mary's University. He also participated in several negotiation competitions to hone his skills and served as a staff writer for St. Mary’s Law Journal. 

Additionally, Mr. Agarwal interned at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit under the Honorable Judge Edward Prado, gaining practical knowledge in civil and criminal cases. He also clerked at an established United States tax law firm. He currently teaches Business Torts as an adjunct professor at St. Mary's Law.

As a result of his million-dollar recoveries, Mr. Agarwal was offered membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an invitation-only organization of trial attorneys in the United States. 

Mr. Agarwal is licensed to practice law in Texas since 2015. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Hindi.
