Details
The founder of the Beal Law Firm, PLLC, Eric D. Beal has been certified as a specialist in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and he focuses his practice exclusively on those types of matters. His firm is located in Southlake, and he represents clients throughout Tarrant County and other parts of the greater Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area. Mr. Beal has been admitted to practice before all Texas state courts since 1990.
Many of Mr. Beal’s clients are people who are facing the end of their marriages, and he guides them through the applicable legal issues of property division, spousal and child support, and child custody and visitation. He often assists them in negotiating a settlement agreement that covers these matters, but when talks have broken down and mediation is not working, he will advocate on their behalf in court. Mr. Beal has also helped clients who have already gotten a divorce and who are now hoping to have existing parenting or support court orders modified or enforced, and his other family law experience has encompassed the preparation and review of prenuptial agreements as well as grandparents’ rights and stepparent adoptions.
After he graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in computer information systems, Mr. Beal spent several years serving his country with the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was a legal officer after finishing first in his class at the Military Justice Legal Officer Course. He then returned to Waco and enrolled at Baylor Law School. While he was there, Mr. Beal was an editor of the Baylor Law Review before receiving his Juris Doctor cum laude and being inducted into the Order of Barristers. He holds an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a “Superb” peer review rating through Avvo.
*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
