Hessam Parzivand

Hessam Parzivand is the principal attorney of The Parzivand Law Firm, PLLC, based in Sugar Land, Texas. He represents both employees and employers in a wide range of employment law matters while also maintaining a commercial litigation practice. Dedicated to providing practical legal guidance tailored to each client's goals, he assists individuals and businesses in resolving complex workplace and business disputes through negotiation, litigation and strategic counsel.

For employees, Mr. Parzivand handles matters involving workplace discrimination, disability discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, Sarbanes-Oxley retaliation claims, overtime disputes, executive severance negotiations, severance agreement reviews and noncompete agreements. He also advises employers on drafting severance agreements, employment contracts, employee handbooks and noncompete agreements designed to protect business interests and comply with applicable laws.

In addition to his employment law practice, Mr. Parzivand represents clients in commercial litigation involving breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes and actions seeking specific performance. He works closely with clients to develop effective legal strategies while pursuing efficient resolutions in and out of the courtroom.

Mr. Parzivand earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center in 2010 after completing his bachelor's degree at Louisiana State University. Since being admitted to practice law in Texas in 2010, he has represented clients across a variety of employment and commercial matters. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.

Committed to remaining active within the legal and business communities, Mr. Parzivand is a member of the Fort Bend County Bar Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
