Maddison West

Maddison West is a dynamic trial attorney at The West Law Firm in Sugar Land, Texas, where she advocates for clients in a broad spectrum of civil litigation. Her practice areas span product liability, class actions and mass torts, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death, as well as complex commercial and antitrust disputes. Since earning her license to practice law in Texas in 2018, she has built a reputation for her fierce dedication to justice.

Raised in Sugar Land, Ms. West’s commitment to the law was shaped both by her upbringing and her family’s legacy in the courtroom. From a young age, she witnessed the profound impact that skilled legal advocacy can have on people’s lives, inspiring her to champion the rights of those who need it most.

An alumna of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she studied psychology and English, Ms. West earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center (UHLC). During law school, she distinguished herself as a member of the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy, and competed nationally with UHLC’s Interscholastic Mock Trial Team – often alongside a future colleague at The West Law Firm.

Ms. West’s exceptional advocacy skills earned her induction into The Order of Barristers, an elite honor society recognizing outstanding trial advocacy among graduating law students – an honor bestowed upon only 10 students per graduating class. Prior to joining The West Law Firm, she honed her courtroom acumen at a prominent Houston personal injury firm.

Deeply engaged in the legal community, Ms. West is an active member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Texas. She maintains a “Good” rating on Avvo and is also fluent in American Sign Language, allowing her to serve an even broader range of clients.
