Chris Osborn

Chris Osborn is the founding attorney of Osborn Law Firm, P.C., based in Taylor, Texas, where he provides seasoned representation across a broad range of practice areas, including family law, divorce litigation, appeals, probate and criminal defense. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation as a formidable trial and appellate advocate, guiding clients through high-stakes litigation and intricate business disputes while also serving as a practical, big-picture adviser to businesses, healthcare providers, municipalities and individuals throughout Texas.

Mr. Osborn's legal foundation was forged at Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2002 and was honored as the school's Senior Appellate Champion, a distinction reflecting his early command of appellate advocacy. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas, graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. His professional path began with formative experience at the National Labor Relations Board, after which he launched his legal career amid the fast-paced world of Austin class-action litigation, an experience that sharpened his courtroom instincts and shaped his approach to complex disputes.

Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas since 2002, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas, Mr. Osborn maintains an active presence in both state and federal forums. He holds membership in the Austin Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association and has served as vice president of the Texas Creditors Bar Association.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Osborn is deeply invested in the Taylor community, having served on the Taylor City Council from 2010 to 2013, as a board member of the Taylor Economic Development Corporation since 2013 and as a member of the Taylor Housing Authority Board, reflecting his enduring commitment to civic leadership alongside his legal practice.
