Taylor Fitzner

Taylor Fitzner is an associate attorney with Baird, Crews, Schiller & Whitaker, P.C., in Temple, Texas, where he has practiced since 2020. His practice spans transactional and litigation matters. Among his professional recognitions, he was honored by BL Rankings as one of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for commercial litigation, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions.

A native of Belton, Texas, Mr. Fitzner earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University, conferred in 2013. During law school, he developed a keen interest in both transactional structuring and courtroom advocacy, which he now leverages on behalf of his clients. He regularly represents business owners in the acquisition and disposition of corporate assets.

Additionally, Mr. Fitzner advises landlords and tenants on lease negotiations, drafting and disputes, and he handles a broad array of real estate transactions. In addition, he assists clients with estate planning and business governance, and litigates complex commercial cases, including intellectual property disputes.

Before joining Baird, Crews, Schiller & Whitaker, P.C., Mr. Fitzner served as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, working under Chief Judge Rodney Gilstrap. He is admitted to practice before all courts in Texas, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas.

Mr. Fitzner is an active member of the State Bar of Texas and the Bell County Bar Association. He is also an engaged member of Vista Community Church. In all aspects of his career and community involvement, he remains committed to delivering thoughtful, effective legal solutions.
