Leslie Ann Werner

Upon graduating from the University of Detroit with a master’s in business administration, Ms. Werner moved to Texas to pursue her legal education at the University of Houston’s Law Center. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 1984 and in 1987 was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. Additionally licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court, she strives to advocate for the client at all levels of the judiciary.

Starting off her legal career working as a paralegal, Ms. Werner was exposed to paperwork and research in the legal system. She then went on to serve as a research attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit and as a staff attorney for Honorable Justice Nelda Rodriguez. This early experience allowed her to completely understand the workings of the judicial system before she moved to a private practice.
