Micah W. Hatley

One of the partners at the boutique law firm Walker Keeling Hatley LLP in Victoria, Texas, Micah W. Hatley is an attorney extending his services to the people of Texas through the firm since 2017. Prior to joining Walker Keeling, LLP in 2017 Mr. Hatley was a solo practitioner focusing solely on criminal defense in and around the Coastal Bend of Texas.

Mr. Hatley secured his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2002, and later in December 2005, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law Houston.  He was admitted after sitting for the February 2006 Texas Bar Exam on May 4, 2006.  He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas where he commonly defends individuals charged by the United States Attorney with violations of federal law in the Victoria and Corpus Christi Divisions.  Furthermore, Mr. Hatley has represented numerous clients in appeals in front of the 13th Court of Appeals of Texas, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals as well as the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
