Dominic Braus

A Partner at Cherry Johnson Siegmund James, Dominic Braus focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Mr. Braus attended Texas A&M University as an undergraduate and received a Bachelor of Science in agricultural business in 2003. After working for an area bank, he decided to pursue a legal career and enrolled at Baylor Law School. While studying abroad at Paris-Sorbonne University, Mr. Braus interned at a Paris law firm. He also clerked for the 54th District Court in Waco before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2009.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Braus joined a Beaumont personal injury law firm, where he obtained several sizable settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of his plaintiff clients, including a significant confidential settlement in a toxic exposure case. He then worked as a partner with a national personal injury law firm for 13 years. During that time he obtained significant trial experience and became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Braus has been recognized as a top attorney in his field by by multiple organizations. He also serves on the board for several legal organizations. Admitted to practice in Texas, Mr. Braus is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas.
