John P. Mabry, Jr.

John P. Mabry Jr. is a personal injury lawyer, board-certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Serving clients at Mabry Lewis Law Firm, L.L.P., in Waco, Texas, he advocates for them in matters of animal bites, brain injury, construction accidents, mediation, motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents and wrongful death. As a fluent speaker of English and Spanish, he ensures effective communication is prioritized throughout the duration of the proceedings. 

With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Mabry is also a certified mediator and meets all requirements to serve as a court-appointed mediator. Licensed to practice in Texas since 1995, he has participated in various mediations and has tried several cases to a verdict. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Baylor University and earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University Law School in 1995. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. 

In the legal community, Mr. Mabry is active through various memberships, including the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He previously served as a state representative from McLennan County in the Texas House of Representatives. He was also selected as one of two “Co-Freshman Members of the Year” and served as a member of the House Committee on Corrections and the House Committee on Defense Affairs and State-Federal Relations.
