Ryan C. Johnson

As one of the founding partners of Cherry Johnson Siegmund James PLLC in Waco, Texas, Ryan C. Johnson focuses his practice on the areas of personal injury, wrongful death and business law. He has experience with a wide variety of business and commercial legal matters, including mergers and acquisition agreements, intellectual property disputes, securities claims, discrimination disputes, product liability and more.

Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice law in state courts in Texas and Oklahoma, as well as before all four Texas Federal Court Districts, the U.S. District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.

Mr. Johnson graduated magna cum laude and second in his graduating class from Baylor Law School in Waco, where he was a member of the Baylor Law Review, serving as assistant senior articles editor. Prior to attending law school, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a major in industrial engineering.

Active in professional and community organization, Mr. Johnson has been counted as a member of the Waco-McLennan County Young Lawyers Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. He is also a member of State Bar of Texas, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Judge Abner V. McCall American Inn of Court. In 2008, the State Bar of Texas honored him for his pro bono work.

Mr. Johnson is also active in several civic organizations, including the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of directors for Midway Little League and the Waco chapter of K-Life Ministries.
