Michael J Crawford is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Less than 1% of attorneys in Texas have this certification.  It is the only Board Certification recognized by the State Bar of Texas in Criminal Law.

Michael J. Crawford is the founder of The Law Office of Michael J. After receiving a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2006, Mr. Crawford went on to attend Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 2009. While in law school, he served internships at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, the Navarro County District Attorney's Office which has helped him to better prepare for defending his own clients' criminal defense matters. After graduation, Mr. Crawford was an associate with a Corsicana law firm prior to opening his own firm in 2010.

Mr. Crawford's accomplishments in the courtroom have not gone unnoticed by his fellow attorneys. He is listed in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100, and he has a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. In 2014 through present, the American Institute of DUI/DWI named Mr. Crawford as one of the top 10 best DUI/DWI attorneys in client satisfaction.
