During his tenure at UT Austin, he also engaged with the film industry through academic stints at New York University and the University of California, Los Angeles, concentrating on the business aspects of entertainment.

Following his passion for storytelling and advocacy, Mr. Means ventured into the legal realm by attending the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. Since joining Nix Means Law in 2017, he has been a formidable force in the courtroom, licensed to practice in both Texas and Oklahoma. At the firm, he leverages his unique blend of legal acumen and storytelling prowess to vigorously represent and advocate for his clients, ensuring their stories are heard and justice is served.
