George T. Waddoups

George T. Waddoups is the founder and president of the firm George T. Waddoups & Associates, which has its offices located in Midvale, Utah. He represents clients with personal injury matters, including, but not limited to, car accidents, wrongful death, slip-and-fall accidents, product liability, dog bites and semi truck crashes. 

Serving clients in Salt Lake City, Utah, and statewide, Mr. Waddoups has over four decades of experience practicing law. When his clients are hurt or lose a loved one because of someone else's carelessness, he fights for them relentlessly. He has represented a large number of clients over the years, earning over $300 million in settlements and verdicts for them, including many settlements in the seven and eight figures.

A fatal trucking accident was the subject of one of Mr. Waddoups’ most prominent lawsuits. On the highway, his client was approaching a left-turning semi truck. He was struck by the force of the incident and died before he could react. The jury decided in favor of his client and his family, awarding them $58.5 million. The victim's family received a substantial sum, which will go a long way toward covering the costs they will incur as a result of their father's death.

Mr. Waddoups has a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and pre-law from the Utah State University and earned his Juris Doctor from the Memphis State University. He is licensed to practice in Utah, Idaho, the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. 

Enthusiastically involved in the legal field, Mr. Waddoups is a prominent member of the Utah State Bar, the Idaho State Bar, the American Association for Justice, the Utah Association for Justice, and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America. He is also a former member of the Utah State Bar Advertising Committee Litigation Section.
