Michael J. Langford

Mr. Langford has represented hundreds of indigent individuals charged with serious federal offenses as an assistant federal public defender. A member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel selected by the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and conflict trial counsel for the Salt Lake Defender Association, he has demonstrated his legal prowess before the Utah Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

An upstanding figure in the legal community, Mr. Langford is affiliated with the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Utah State Bar. Furthermore, he presently serves on the governing bodies of the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center and the Salt Lake County Bar Association. Previously, he had held board positions in organizations like the Salt Lake County Children's Justice Center, the Multicultural Legal Center and the Henry's Fork Foundation.
