Brian E. Arnold

Brian E. Arnold is a partner at Arnold, Wadsworth & Coggins in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he combines an aggressive trial style with keen legal insight to secure outstanding results for his clients. His practice encompasses criminal defense, family law, divorce proceedings and general civil litigation. Also, he has successfully argued before the Utah Court of Appeals in both family law and criminal matters.

A lifelong Utah resident, Mr. Arnold’s journey began with a B.A. in English literature from Weber State University in 2005, leading him to the pursuit of a Juris Doctor at Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington. During his law school years, he fine-tuned his advocacy prowess as a two-year member of the Moot Court Board and gained hands-on experience at the Environmental Law Clinic. After graduating in 2008, he was admitted to practice in Utah the same year.

Outside the courtroom, Mr. Arnold actively contributes to the legal community. He has been a regular guest on Big Talk 860 AM Radio, fielding family-law questions and serving as an editor for both the Utah Journal of Family Law and, most recently, the Utah Journal of Criminal Law. In these roles, he collaborates with judges and fellow practitioners to publish timely, practice-oriented scholarship.

An upstanding figure in the legal circle, Mr. Arnold holds membership in the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Utah State Bar.
