Clayton Simms has tried over 175+ jury trials and understands that fighting the case is the only path to victory. For people under criminal charges having an attorney who is willing to actively defend you rather than take the path of least resistance and plead guilty quickly is vital. Willingness to file motions to suppress, ability to craft unique defenses and skill at trial is what sets Clayton apart from his peers.
Clayton Simms holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and he worked for Congressman in Washington, D.C. He then obtained a law degree from the University of Utah, where he was a Borchard Scholar and played on the University of Utah Soccer Club team. Clayton Simms has the distinction of being a Fellow in the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. He has also been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers Association and Utah Business Magazine as "Legal Elite".
He has lectured at many Utah State Bar functions, Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office, Brigham Young University’s Law School, the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney Law School and the University of Iowa.
