Kevin D. Swenson

Kevin D. Swenson is the co-founder and partner at the law firm of Swenson & Shelley situated in St. George, Utah as well as Phoenix Arizona. He devotes his practice to defending the rights of injured Utah and Arizona residents and invests a tremendous part of his practice managing commercial motor vehicle and catastrophic brain injury cases. In addition, he handles matters related to car and motorcycle accidents, animal attacks, slip-and-falls, and spine injuries.

Hailing from Bountiful, Utah, Kevin Swenson majored in finance and completed his Bachelor of Science at Westminster College in 1987. He received his Juris Doctor from The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and was admitted to practice law in Utah in 1990 and later in Idaho and Arizona. During his college years, he maintained and administered a robust sign company and also served as a First Responder as an ambulance worker and fireman. His job and passion as a personal injury lawyer permits him to keep contributing his energy to helping injured individuals.

Kevin Swenson started his legal career as an insurance defense attorney, Mr. Swenson understood how insurance firms operate, their ideas and how they oppose a claim. Having this unique experience and understanding of how the Insurance Industry works provides a tremendous advantage when representing victims of negligence. In 2010, he changed sides and began representing injured people rather than the multibillion-dollar insurance corporations, and he feels a greater sensation of purpose and gratification as a result.
